Bonnabeau, who has been involved with the company since its inception, has been named chairman of the MLP Advisory Board. A cardiovascular thoracic surgeon and decorated military physician, Bonnabeau has served as the U.S. Army's Deputy Surgeon General for Mobilization and Reserve Affairs; U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Director of Emergency Medical Preparedness; Chief of Outpatient Surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Chief of Surgery at Bethesda Lutheran Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota and Clarksburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Virginia. His numerous faculty positions include Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota, Assistant Professor at Cornell University and West Virginia School of Medicine. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 scientific publications on diverse medical subjects and the history of medicine. Bonnabeau earned his pre-medical degree from Fordham University, New York,
New York; his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York; and doctorate from the University of Minnesota.
