A former nursing home director of social services, Ruth Skocic inspired to launch My LifePlan Holdings, Inc.™ after witnessing needless tragedies among some of the adults for whom she served as advocate. She envisioned a world where emergency workers could access medical information of those in their care, and a world where they were able to act in the best medical interest, and according to the wishes of everyone, even those unable to speak on their own behalf.

Ruth imagined a system that could eliminate controversies like the one that surrounded the illness and death of Florida resident Terri Schindler Schiavo, or the tragedy of an indigent man whose gangrenous infection cost him his life the same day Ruth succeeded in a desperate effort to secure emergency guardianship for him.

After an early career in corporate sales, Ruth was raising two children while attending college full time. Finally, in 2006, with her degree in social sciences (with a minor in psychology), she was able to heed her life calling and begin a career in helping others.

Launching My LifePlan Holdings, Inc.™ in 2006 was, in many ways, the culmination of Ruth's life experiences, formal education and on-the-job knowledge.

In addition to serving as president and CEO of My LifePlan Holdings, Inc.™, she serves as a consultant for grant writing, devising corporate structures and raising capital.

Dr. Ron Ribitzky is a physician executive in Healthcare I.T. and Life-Sciences Informatics. He has a distinguished record of bringing together clinical insight, global perspectives, visionary thinking, technology leadership, and operational reality to shape strategy and drive execution throughout the product, service, and solution life cycle.

Dr. Ribitzky brings to us over 20 years of experience in medical, technology, marketing, and management roles with world-class companies, start-ups, healthcare organizations, R&D and academia; Situational leadership forming and managing national and multinational teams through complex high-stake projects; Driving collaboration across professional domains, business units, corporate and field, and the ecosystem; and 10 years of clinical practice as a Flight Surgeon, Primary Care Physician, and Senior Resident in Pediatrics.

His technology career includes Senior Healthcare Strategist and Worldwide Marketing Campaign Manager for Mobile Point of Care at Intel, VP Emerging Technologies and VP Advanced Research at Eclipsys, CIO at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and Director of Applications at Boston Children’s Hospital. He won Intel’s Healthcare I.T. Award (team) for exceeding a nine-figure worldwide revenue goal, Intel Digital Health Division Recognition Award (team) for Economic Model of Healthcare I.T., Intel KUDOS Awards for Customer Orientation, Results Orientation, Discipline and Risk Taking, and Eclipsys Chairman Awards (team and individual) for exceptional accomplishments, entrepreneurism, and teamwork.

Boards and professional committee experience includes Leadership Council, Electronic Health Record Usability Workgroup at HIMSS; Framework for Evaluating Electronic Health Records (Davies Program); Architecture Board, Asklepios Future Hospital; Industry Advisory Board, National Science Foundation Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval; Board of ACSIOM, a technology transfer corporation; and Advisor to AT&T on National Medical Practice Knowledge Bank project of the U.S. Department of Commerce/NIST.

Dr. Ribitzky’s academic appointment included Visiting Scientist at IBM, Visiting Scientist at the Weizmann Institute - Applied Mathematics, Research Fellow in Medical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts, and Assistant Professor at the Center for Clinical Evaluation Sciences at Emory School of Public Health. He served as a Co-Pi on ARPA National Academic Medical Centers Information Collaborative, and Co-Pi on Raytheon Clinical Event Monitor.

Dr. Ribitzky published, presented, and led workshops around the world on diverse topics relating to eHealth Innovation, Emerging Technologies, Electronic Medical Record, Mobile Point of Care, Healthcare I.T., and Bio-Medical Informatics in industry, academia, marketing, and sales events.

Education:

M.D. Degree from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, Israel, and various academic and industry training in strategy, finance, health systems management, project management, research methods, knowledge engineering, and software development.

As the Vice President of Operations and the Human Resources Manager of My LifePlan Holdings, Inc.™, Kim Hoffmann's responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and managing staff, as well as managing the company website and overseeing some of the company's IT hardware issues. Having completed the Cleveland 3-day 60 mile walk for breast cancer in 2007 and 2008, Kim has the energy and commitment to accomplish great things on the job and in her personal life.

Before joining My LifePlan Holdings, Inc.™, Kim gained more than 16 years' experience at Swagelok where her areas of expertise included HR, customer service, website management, employee training and supervision, event planning, and writing manuals. Kim began her career as a data entry clerk at Swagelok and rose through the ranks to become a systems analyst, work in distributor support, and serve as executive administrative assistant to the vice president of customer service.

Kim holds an associates degree in business management and is MS Office certified. For five years, she taught second and fourth graders as a volunteer with the Junior Achievement program, a non-profit group that seeks to educate and inspire young people to succeed in a global economy. Kim is also the 2008-2009 second vice president of her local Lion's Club, a service organization whose volunteers meet a variety of needs in communities around the world.
