Survival Initiatives
What
do we do?
My LifePlan® provides proactive
intelligent information services for individual emergency and large-scale disasters.
Our mission is to save lives
and reduce suffering in an emergency.
My LifePlan (‘MLP’) services address
different types of emergency situations, such as:
·
Routine individual
emergencies (e.g. heart
attack, automobile accident, diabetic shock, etc); and -
·
Large-scale
disasters (e.g.
natural disasters, man-made disasters, pandemics, etc).
We begin with identifying
individuals - and validating their identity; capturing vital emergency
medical information - and providing it to authorized emergency workers. Identifying
the individual can be done in a number of ways including identification number,
fingerprints and more.
Disaster
reduction and relief organizations can rely on MLP throughout the disaster cycle to:
·
Proactively register
populations at risk before disasters strike
·
Once the
disaster strikes, identify
disaster victims; locate and track individuals as they move or are
being moved from place to place, or go in and out emergency shelters; reduce
human suffering by helping reunite dislocated persons and families; provide
vital emergency medical information to health workers; update emergency
medical records of disaster victims; and assist disaster management
teams track and manage relief efforts with real-time analytics
·
In the
reconstruction phase,
MLP can be used for retrospective analysis of person-centric events
and relief efforts; and extract key learnings as to how more
lives can be saved, human suffering can be reduced, and resources
can be deployed more effectively, efficiently, and productively.
